The semester goes through Friday 17 December 2004. The schedule will be adjusted during Finals week, Sunday, 12 December 2004 through Saturday, 18 December 2004, and a new schedule will apply after that.

KSC is Kramer Science Center Center, Rudolph Campus, Idle Hour Blvd., Oakdale, NY 11769. BROOK1 is the Brookhaven Center, 1300 William Floyd Parkway, Shirley, NY 11967. Note that, in general, Dr. Bernstein will be at the Oakdale campus on Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Meetings at the Brookhaven campus are by appointment only. If at all possible, please use email to schedule meetings in advance to avoid conflicts with other students and other obligations of the instructor.

Office Hours:

The hours on this page start on Wednesday, 1 September 2004 for lab hours. There is no schedule on:

  • Monday, 6 September 2004 (Labor Day)
  • Wednesday, 15 September 2004 (erev Rosh Hashanah) after 4 pm
  • Thursday -- Friday, 15 -- 17 September 2004 (Rosh Hashanah)
  • Friday, 24 September 2004 (erev Yom Kippur)
  • Tuesday, 2 November 2004 (Election Day)
  • Wednesday, 10 November before 5 pm, but class will be held in the evening
  • Wednesday -- Friday, 24 -- 26 November 2004 (Thanksgiving)

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR FALL 04: There will be ARCiB lab "common hours" in KSC020 from 4:15 pm to 5:15 pm each Monday through Thursday. All students working in the Lab during the Spring semester are expected to be in the Lab during a significant part of those hours and Dr. Bernstein will hold office hours and be available in the Lab during those hours. Students coming to the Lab for class office hours are encouraged to join discussions with other students in the Lab and to find out more about the research conducted there.
