The semester starts on Monday, 29 January 2007 and goes through Monday, 14 May 2007. A new schedule will apply after that.

KSC is Kramer Science Center Center, Rudolph Campus, Idle Hour Blvd., Oakdale, NY 11769. BROOK1 is the Brookhaven Center, 1300 William Floyd Parkway, Shirley, NY 11967. Note that, in general, Dr. Bernstein will be at the Oakdale campus on Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Meetings at the Brookhaven campus are by appointment only. If at all possible, please use email to schedule meetings in advance to avoid conflicts with other students and other obligations of the instructor.

Office Hours:

  • by appointment; and
  • Monday, 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm in KSC 020 at the Oakdale campus;
  • Tuesday, 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm in KSC 020 at the Oakdale campus;
  • Wednesday, 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm in KSC 020 at the Oakdale campus;
  • Thursday: 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm in KSC 020 at the Oakdale campus.

The hours on this page start on Monday, 29 January 2007. There is no schedule on:

  • Monday, 19 February 2007 (President's Day)
  • Monday, 2 April -- Sunday, 8 April 2007 (Passover/Easter)
In addition, Dr. Bernstein will be away at a meeting 25-27 April 2007 and a substitute will cover the classes on Thursday, 26 April 2007.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR SPRING 07: There will be ARCiB lab "common hours" in KSC020 from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm each Monday through Wednesday. All students working in the Lab during the Fall semester are expected to be in the Lab during a significant part of those hours and Dr. Bernstein will be available in the Lab during those hours. Students coming to the Lab for class office hours are encouraged to join discussions with other students in the Lab and to find out more about the research conducted there.
